Brittany- I am in a abnormal psychology class and recently discuss how the environment affects an individuals tendency to abuse drugs or partake in criminal activities. I think this would be an appropriate place for you to consider looking for a better understanding of how a community, your family, and your childhood could affect you psychologically. If a person's environment was not stable, it is really likely that the lack of comfort will lead to criminal activities or drug abuse. I just thought I would put the psychological perspective out there.
